After installing audio-guide system for tourists in Qutub Minar, the Archaeological Survey of India has now decided to extend the facility to all ticketed monuments in the national capital in view of the Commonwealth Games next year.

At least 12 persons were injured, including two seriously, when two cranes collapsed at a Delhi Metro Railway Construction site in southern Delhi. The accident occurred on the Connaught Place-Gurgaon railway line.According to DMRC sources, the mishap occurred in the Said-ul-Ajaib area, which is located near the historical Qutub Minar. The injured have been rushed to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences and Safdarjung Hospitals for treatment.
